On Friday July 22nd Larry Sanchez was caught in a house fire. 95% of his body was affected by 3rd degree burns. Larry is facing approximately 100 surgeries and 6 months to a year at UC Davis Medical Center. Larry is a good hearted man who spends hours doing things like the yards for his grandmother and helping neighbors and friends with their home repairs or anything they need done. He often takes less pay then deserved to help others out, or forgoes it all together. Larry is someone you can turn to when you are in need and he will take the shirt off his back and give it to you. Since this has happened we have received tons of prayers and support. Please keep them up! We tell Larry everyday how many people love him. if you would like to send a card or letter: we can put them in Larry's room at the hospital. Please send cards and letters to Kim de la Montanya PO Box 1124 Oakley, CA 94561 The Sanchez Family had a car wash event for Larry was a huge success! So many people in the community turned out, more than we could have ever hoped for and we Thank Everyone! Larry's family and girlfriend has taken an apartment in Sacramento to be closer to Larry during this time that he needs us most. We can't help Larry recover without your help too! Prayers, thoughts, donations, and love are keeping us going. If you would like to donate to the recovery fund which helps us pay our rent, gas, food, etc in Sacramento please donate to Bank Of America, c/o Henry Orozco for Larry Sanchez, checking account number 17562-70082 routing number 121000358. Or click the Make a donation button This money goes to keeping his family near him during this time and then to the things we will need to buy for him when he makes it out. He lost everything in the fire and we will need to replace it all. Larry has touched so many lives and we need to rally as community and help save his! |
